Back Face: 70% to 100% heart face after straight-line rip. • Graded from the poor face after surfacing. • Manufacturing: Not more than 1/2" of bow, side-bend, wave, or twist in 8' of length. • Dimensions: Width 3-1/4" and wider, Length 4' to 16'. • Splits: Maximum split allowed on each end is equal to the square footage of the board in inches. • Sticker stain: Not allowed on grade face. Cabinet Prime is ideal for making cabinet doors and drawer fronts. Considered the high end of mid-grade lumber yielding 66-2/3% to 83-1/3% clear face cuttings with a minimum cutting size of 3" x 3' or 4" x 2'. It is ideal for mid length clear 2 face, and clear 1 face cuttings that require a very high percentage of heartwood on both the face and the back of the board, with a moderate restriction on gum pockets on the face. Boards are graded for uniform color in the cuttings. No saddleback sap or boards with more than 20% miss are allowed.
