Job Title: Account Manager
Function: To sell Hardwood Industries, Inc. products and services to all types of commercial customers in the hardwood industry at a level to achieve yearly sales and gross profit goals.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties: Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Contact existing customers on a regular basis to secure orders, service customer’s needs, and maintain an adequate selling relationship to insure future business orders.
Develop new customers through networking with existing customers, from call-ins, cold calling, and other methods of soliciting business generally practiced in the hardwood industry.
Resolve product and sales related issues with customers in a timely and professional manner.
Investigate new products and locate suppliers for products when the normal channels fail.
Travel to visit existing and potential customers.
Collect accounts within prescribed time limits so all balances are collected prior to 90 days from the date of invoice to prevent the reduction of commissions earned. Assist the credit department by communicating derogatory information about customers so timely collection action can be taken.

Knowledge of all office equipment, its use, and ability to operate it.

Ability to learn and use software computer applications, to include Microsoft Office Suite and Epicor.

• Home every weekend.
• Paid hourly, OT available weekly.

• Fleet is predominantly Penske full-service leases.

• No sleeper runs, stay in a hotel on overnights.
